The International Conference on Harmonization (ICH), consisting of a committee of pharmaceutical representatives, scientists and authorities, defines the functional, performance and documentation requirements for stability testing conducted in the pharmaceutical industry in the ICH Guidelines. Europe, Japan and the United States have all agreed on a general stability test.
